Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are with

Maryland Healthcare Jobs (the "Platform") is operated by Phillips Health Consulting LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account, posting a job, applying to a role, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. We are a private business and are not affiliated with the State of Maryland or any government agency.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Accounts are personal. Employer accounts may be used by named staff of that organization but may not be shared, resold, or transferred.

3. Candidates

• Resumes, profiles, and applications you submit must be truthful and your own. Do not upload another person's resume or credentials.
• Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, an offer, or a response. Hiring decisions are made solely by employers.
• If you make your profile available to the resume database, verified employers with an active subscription may view it and contact you about roles.

4. Employers and job postings

• Postings must describe a real, currently open position at your organization, with accurate title, location, pay information, and requirements.
• Postings are reviewed before publication. We may reject, edit for formatting, unpublish, or remove any listing that is misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, a multi-level marketing or fee-charging scheme, or otherwise inconsistent with these terms.
• You may never charge a candidate a fee to apply, request payment or banking details as part of hiring, or use candidate data for anything other than recruiting for the roles you posted.
• You are solely responsible for compliance with employment, licensing, background-check, and equal-opportunity laws applicable to your hiring.

5. Paid plans, credits, and refunds

• Paid job packages, sponsored placements, employer subscriptions, resume database plans, advertising, and career services are billed through our payment processor at the prices shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Contact credits and posting credits are allotted per billing period and, unless the plan states otherwise, do not roll over.
• Fees for placements that already ran are non-refundable. If a listing is removed for violating these terms, unused fees are not refunded.

6. Acceptable use

• No scraping, bulk downloading, automated access, or reselling of Platform content or candidate data.
• No harassment, spam, malware, or attempts to bypass access controls or paywalls.
• No content that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or discriminatory on any basis protected by federal or Maryland law.

7. Content you submit

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate the Platform — for example, showing a job posting in search results or delivering your application to an employer. You confirm you have the right to submit it.

8. Staffing and career services

Resume writing, coaching, and staffing engagements delivered by Phillips Health Consulting LLC are professional services, not guarantees of employment or of any particular hiring outcome. Specific deliverables and timelines are described at the point of purchase.

9. No warranty

The Platform is provided "as is". We do not verify every employer, posting, applicant, or credential, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that a role is still open, or that any listing or candidate is suitable. Use judgment before sharing sensitive personal or financial information with anyone you meet through the Platform.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phillips Health Consulting LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost opportunities arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time from Privacy Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for other users, or are used fraudulently.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above, and continued use after that date means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law and contact
